  • Authors of posters are totally free in the design of their posters.
  • The size of the poster should not exeed the format A0 tall (width 84,1 cm x height 118,9 cm).
  • The posters will be presented throughout the congress.
  • This will allow participants to read the posters during coffee breaks.
  • There will be two special poster sessions – one on Thursday (19.9.2024) and one on Friday (20.9.2024).
  • The posters will be divided into two groups.
  • During the poster sessions the poster authors must be present directly at the poster.

Instructions for authors

  • Abstracts for oral presentations and posters can be submitted for all topics.
  • You may submit abstracts for oral presentations AND / OR poster presentations.
  • There is no limit in the number of abstracts you are allowed to submit for the congress.
  • Please send one registration form and include abstract information for all of your submitted abstracts in the according field for abstract titles using our online submission system!
  • Please do not submit an abstract for an oral presentation and an identical one for an additional poster.
  • The abstracts will be reviewed by the members of the scientific committee.
  • Young scientists, who submit abstracts, may additionally apply for the Young Scientists Travel Awards (YSTA).

To prepare your abstract, please read the instructions for authors:

You are welcome to submit your original scientific abstract no later than the deadline announced above. Please contact the congress office, if you miss the deadline!

Please note, that the structure of the submission needs to comply with good scientific practice.

After peer-review and acceptance of your abstract you agree implicitly by having submitted your contribution that your abstract will be published in the ALTEX conference proceedings and the conference abstract booklet.

  1. Provide full first and last names of all authors; abbreviate middle names (e.g. Peter R. S. Parker)
