EUSAAT – poster award at the R3FINE conference in Istanbul, Turkiye

The R3FINE conference in Istanbul at the Medipol University took place from 11-14th of June 2026. The conference focused on the 3R principles (Replace, Reduce, Refine), New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), and innovative animal-free research strategies. R3FINE 2026 brought together international researchers, experts, and early-career scientists through scientific sessions, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops (https://r3fine.org/)

During this conference with three days full of excellent scientific talks from biosensors over cell culture models and diseases to translational aspects, excellent scientific presentations were awarded.

In addition to other awards, the poster of Beyzanur TURGUT with the title “Investigation of Mitochondrial Differences Between Axolotl AL-1 and Human Dermal Fibroblast Cell Lines” convinced the committee awarding her the EUSAAT award, which will enable her to visit the EUSAAT congress 2027.
